‘Omotenashi’ toilets to be recognized
Jiji Press The government created awards designed to promote clean, environmentally friendly toilets and restrooms as part of Japan’s efforts to provide “omotenashi” hospitality for foreign visitors toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
The “toilet environment” prize will be given to restrooms that Japan can proudly introduce to the rest of the world, including facilities that have achieved significant cost cuts and ones at schools that make children feel happy to use.
The government also created the “activities” award for, among others, the developers of eco-friendly toilets such as ones that use little or no water, volunteers in projects to install toilets in developing countries, and those who are trying to attract tourists through programs to create restroom maps and other toilet-related initiatives.
кстати у Вас был пост о японских современных унитазах и почему люди в мире их не используют. Японскому правительству тоже эта мысль в голову пришла, несколько месяцев назад была статья что правительство приняло программу пропаганды японских унитазов зарубежом.
